In recent years,with the increasing number of cars on the road,Vehicle identification in intelligent transportation system plays a more and more important role in the traffic monitoring and control system,the automatic toll collection system,which has become a hot research topic at home and abroad.It is helpful in managing traffic.Fast,accurate and efficient for vehicle identificatio n has very strong social value and economic value.In the process of image processing for road vehicles,the image processing is often affected by illumination,background,pedestrian or weather factors,and reduce the recognition effect.At the same time,the real-time performance is poor,is often a reminder,the detection results are limited by the software and hardware of the system.So in this paper,we focus on the contents of the paper,which is based on the complex background,and by integrating the results of local identification.The contents of this paper are as follows:(1)In the research,we study a new method based on the Initial template for multiple level matching to determine the exact motorcycle model.The image is divided into several blocks,through image enhancement preprocessing,remove noise,enhance contrast,the establishment of the initial large,medium and small vehicle templates.Integrated vehicle identification results in all areas under the initial template matching,vehicle identification preliminary overall results obtained by probability and statistics.(2)Choose different models feature unique to the region as a further vehicle recognition module based discrimination,let the gray value approximate treatment,through twice template matching to identify specific models through a matrix form.
