As the next generation of the Web language,XML is straightforwardly usable in numeriousapplications,for example,in e-commerce,online banking,digitalmedical services,etc,which has been the de-facto standard of information representation and exchange over the Web.In recent years,uncertain data has attracted favorable attention and played an important role in practical applications.Since the structure and content of the data obtained from different Web applicaitions may be quite different,how to integrate the Web data,especially how to effectively integrate the XML data,becomes a research hot spot.The existing works mainly focus on the traditional XML data integrations,and they fall short in their abilities to meet the requirement of desgning a modern uncertain XML database management system for intelligent Web-based applications.In order to adapt to the e-commerce and solve the problem of data integrations,based on the uncertain XML,we propsed an effective data integration approach for the e-commerce and then develop the integration system in this thesis.We begin by introducing the basic framework forconflict detections and similarity evaluations in uncertain XML documents.Based on the integration rules,we then propose a model for reconciling the uncertain XML data,and present an example for illustrating our integration model.Finally,we introduce how to design and realizetheuncertain XML data integration system,and illustrate the feasibility and superiority of the integration system by the system tests andexperimental evaluations.
