Flexible electronic is the emerging electronic technology that produce the elec-tronic devices on the flexible substrate,with bending,stretching,lightweight,etc,has developed rapidly in recent years.However,the current flexible electronic manufac-turing technology is relatively complex from the preparation of conductive functional materials to flexible electronic manufacturing process,and many of them need fol-low-up product process,which increases time costs,equipment costs and higher mate-rial costs.Gallium indium alloy liquid metal at room temperature is liquid,with ad-vantages of good fluidity,high conductivity and low cost,is an ideal functional mate-rials of flexible electronic manufacturing technology.The use of directly writing liq-uid metal method for manufacturing flexible electronic products is convenient,effi-cient,low equipment requirements,flexibility,and has broad application prospects.In this paper,a flexible electronic printing method based on liquid metal directly writing is proposed to realize liquid metal directly printing on flexible substrates and encapsulation.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.Studied the oxidative properties of liquid metal materials,and the substrates suitable for liquid metal directly writing were explored and selected.The wettability and adhesion mechanism of liquid metal were investigated.Realized encapsulation of flexible liquid metal products through the instantly printing of silicone to facilitate its application and preservation.2.Set up the platform of liquid metal directly writing.The stability and motion precision of the three-coordinate motion equipment were optimized.The extrusion system of liquid metal and silica gel was designed,and the precision of the ball screw is controlled by the stepping motor system with planetary reducer to ensure the accu-racy of material extrusion.And built a double-nozzle packaging system to reduce product processing equipments.3.Explored the directly writing process of liquid metal,including the effects of the needle type,' the inner diameter of the needle,the speed of the nozzle and the height of the work platform on the directly writing consequence,selecting the best printing scheme.Besides,the printing parameters of silica gel were studied,guaran-teed it could seal the liquid metal lines perfectly during the printing process.4.The application of flexible electronic directly writing technology was studied.Put this method into use of RFID identification tags,flexible antenna and other elec-tronic components.Fabricated flexible circuit,and a directly writing method of flexi-ble PCB was proposed.In addition,the application in wearable equipment was dis-cussed.
