This thesis is a part of the research work on the project of National High-tech R&D Program(863 Program)—“Development and application demonstration of robot RV reducer”.The purpose of the research is to develop a test system for transmission accuracy and torsion rigidity of RV reducers.Firstly,the existing test principles for transmission precision and torsional rigidity have been reviewed,and methods of dynamic testing technology have been studied in details.Based on the structure characteristics and testing requirements of RV reducers,the testing plan for the project has been specified by using grating method,and the testing system structure has been determined accordingly.Secondly,devices and materials have been selected and the test bench has been designed and manufactured.Also much effort has been spent to develop data acquisition and signal processing software.This has been done in Labview by using its data acquisition and signal processing programming techniques.The software system developed include main control process and several functional modules to realize the test function of the expected project design.Finally,the accuracy of the testing system and its application have been assessed by testing transmission accuracy and torsional rigidity of two RV-40 E reducers manufactured in SH Company.By comparing testing data of two reducers,the impact factors on transmission performce have been analysed,and improvements on manufacturing and assemblying process have been proposed.The data showed that the system meets the actual test requirements of the project and SH company.
