A Design And Implementation Of A Software Automatic Test System Based On PXE

With the development of software and hardware technologies,system-level testing has been the most important part of software quality.Under the condition of increasing competition in the market,improving product testing efficiency inevitably becomes a key issue.Although the theories,methods and tools of software automation testing are progressing,there is still much more manual testing work.In this thesis,the author integrates software and operating system with test case by applying network guidance of pre-booted execution environment(PXE)and combing the idea of automation,which can reduce testing cost of R&D and improve testing efficiency.This thesis studies basic principle of PXE and builds the overall framework design and implementation based on PXE.According to BIOS test specification,it constructs the corresponding testing environment and enables the automation of multi-boot operating system.Through the deployment of multiple operating systems,it develops a server to meet the varieties of operating system installation requirements.Finally,the thesis develops a prototype system of an automatic testing system by combining with test case automation.
