In surveying and mapping industry, geographic information data is an important part of national spatial data infrastructure, in the national economic construction, social development, national security and national defense plays a very important role. Geographic information data is obtained by means of remote sensing and photogrammetry, data acquisition shall cover in the industry and field with job processing after get the final results. Responsible for geographical image information extraction and integrated in the industry, geographic information field inspections is to geographic information data on field field verification and wild annotation, internal industry work was unable to obtain information and uncertain investigation, collection of records attribute information, and results in the industry, ensure that investigation and surveying and mapping results to objective comprehensive, accurate, form the final results of geographic information data.Along with the industrialization and urbanization process is accelerated, geographic information update faster and faster,with the rapid development of information technology at the same time, the geographic information data increase . With the increase of geographic information data, field verification workload will increase, traditional way of field operation is complicated, there are a lot of disadvantages, repeated and the intensity of labor is big job. Therefore, we need to improve the field data carrying capacity, improve the work efficiency, control the cost of production. With the development of science, electronic products, electronic information means gradually replaced the traditional mode of operation, easy to carry, the emergence of high quality mobile platform has brought great convenience for field verification work. Geographic information field is under the background of the development of verification system.Using geographic information system technology are studied in this paper, remote sensing, global positioning technology, combined with the characteristics of the geographic information field inspections, field research and development of geographical information system. System overall design considering the current management of the business level, each link of the convenience of data processing and feasibility of taking the overall design and the implement technology of distribution solutions, on the premise of the overall design, system implementation, first of all, on the basis of function implementation and management of low level management, gradually transition to a high-level management and comprehensive systematic, such doing can make the system always closely together with the actual needs of users, increase the practicability of the system, and keep the system construction of good consistency. In addition, all the man-machine operation design considering the actual needs of different users.This article first analyzes the industry development present situation at home and abroad, and then on the basis of field research, the present situation of the verification work, clear geographic information field verification system is designed. Introduces aspects of GIS, GPS, mobile terminal technology theory knowledge, analyzes the detailed requirements of field verification system and geographic information system of the main business processes, this paper gives the design of the system. With portable handheld terminal as the carrier, using phase offline images at the same time, land planning, the administrative area as data sources, such as the construction is convenient, practical field verification system, geographic information field inspections to provide flexible and efficient way of working.The geographic information field verification system based realize the function of GPS positioning, distance measurement function, area, layer management, input coordinates positioning, labeling, photos, video, attribute information view, attribute query, spatial analysis, and other functions. Finally, the system was tested, the system running normally, staff use effect is good, achieve expected goals.
