Multimedia technology and network technology in recent years fast development, promote the wider use of digital network video monitoring system, and people's daily lives. Real-time network data transmission technology as a network digital video surveillance system is the core content is the main development of the industry. Has designed a real-time, the integrity of the video data transmission system to perform real-time streaming video in engineering applications has important value and theoretical significance.As the above thesis research background, network-based transport protocols and data transmission protocol for video transmission characteristics of the network video monitoring system in-depth research and analysis, and analyze data in real-time video network transmission. Article compared to the current widespread use of several video compression technology, and ultimately determine the compression technology systems applied to MJPEG video compression standard. Next, by comparing a variety of network data transmission protocol used by the network transport layer begin to study, after the TCP and UDP protocols do a full comparison of the development of video transmission technology solutions for the combination of multicast and RTP / RTCP / UDP protocols.
