In recent years, cloud computing technology is developing rapidly, becoming a general direction of Internet industry. Cloud computing technology provides a new Internet-based service, use and delivery models, to provide users dynamically scalable computing resources. With the rapid development of cloud computing, network change is arising, because cloud computing brings structural changes in the data center network. The configuration and management of cloud computing center data center network is significant, because cloud computing network service center provides basic guarantee of other services. So an adaptable cloud computing data center network architecture of technical standards is imperative. Multi-tenancy and virtualization are new features of the cloud computing environment. So network data center puts forward new demands to the traditional networks.This paper analyzes the data center network technology related proposed scalable virtual LAN technology. For the quantitative restriction of tenant network, this paper makes a modification of VLAN technology, which offers plenty of virtual network resources. Through the network link layer encapsulation technology, the paper greatly reduces the storage pressure of switch address forwarding table. For broadcast packets impact on network performance, this paper achieves local resolution of ARP packets, reducing the impact of ARP packets on the network performance. This paper uses a 3-tuple information to uniquely identify a VM, which provides tenants with full network address space. Scalable Virtual LAN technology supports large-scale multi-tenant data center networks with no changing in the existing network structure and network equipment. In Scalable Virtual LAN network architecture, most configurations of network and device can be automated, so that build of the network environment becomes simple and flexible.This paper proposes an oriented network link layer routing method due to the limit of cross-routing traffic in data center network. The method adds a new link-layer router in the original data center network, making tenant's packets forward through the link layer router. With this technology, data center network can communicate across routers, using the Layer 2 network virtualization for isolation. The design of link layer routing protocol is compatible with Scalable Virtual LAN technology, so that two technologies can work simultaneously in the same network. The configuration of the link layer router is easy, which is plug-and-play.In this paper, we analyze the virtual machine's network structure, and implement Scalable Virtual LAN network modules and oriented link layer routing modules. For evaluation, we deploy Scalable Virtual LAN network modules and link layer routing modules in lab cluster. The experimental result shows that the modules which we implemented cause a negligible decrease in network performance to support scalable multi-tenant network.
