As a typical representative of SDN, Open Flow has been proposed since 2008.After several years of development, SDN and Open Flow technology has got great progress, and also has transformed itself from a major cross experiment platform to the business network deployment. In the existing Open Flow routing protocol, if an Open Flow network forward packets to another Open Flow network, only flooding method can be used.when the data transfer frequently between multiple Open Flow networks, this strategy will increase data traffic significantly in network, that is likely to cause congestion. So in this paper, we research in routing protocol and relevant key technology based on multiple Open Flow network. For existing research in multiple Open Flow networks, we propose two routing protocol, implement the prototype system based on the Floodlight controller, experiment verification on Mininet simulation platform. The main thesis work and innovations in this paper include:1 ?We research in the principle mechanism of controller. In allusion to the link discovery, topology management and routing forwarding mechanism of controller, we propose Global Topology Routing Protocol(GTRP). In multiple Open Flow networks, controllers can find links between neighbouring networks by extending link discovery. And neighbouring controllers exchange their topology information, this process convergence until all controllers in the network obtain a consistent global network topology. Controller ensure the global topology information of all controllers within the network is consistent by publishing the topology update messages. Controllers forward the data stream based on the global topology by using the shortest path algorithm to calculate routes.2?In allusion to the characteristic of the existing controller can only calculate its domain routing, this paper proposes Multi-level Graph Routing Protocol(MGRP). Considering each Open Flow domain as a level in multi-level graph, the links between the source host and the destination host form a multi-level graph. The controller on each level calculate path cost. Finally, the controller of the network, where the destination node in, select the least costly path as forwarding path, and gives a confirmation response to the controllers on the shortest path. The forwarding path between the source node and the destination node is established.3?Research in the principle mechanism of Floodlight controller, design and implement a prototype system of the proposed two routing protocols based on Floodlight controller and open-source projects.4?Study and master the principle and operation mechanism of Mininet network simulation platform. We build a multiple Open Flow networks experimental environment based Mininet network simulation platform, and simulate the proposed two routing protocols. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the application of these two routing protocols can implement quickly data forwarding between multiple OpenFlow networks.
