Laser marking is one of the most important applications of laser processing. By virtue of pollution, speed, quality, flexibility, non-contact work, etc. in the process, laser marking has gradually replaced the traditional means of marking in many areas. Dimensional laser marking technology has been basically mature after years of development, But the laser marking on the three-dimensional surface does not have much research, Three-dimensional laser marking equipments of high speed and precision are still rare. This article aims to do some theoretical probe and experimental research in this area.Firstly, based on the principle of 3D laser marking system due to dynamic focusing, integrated mission requirements of the project, software and hardware platform of three-dimensional laser marking system were built in this paper.Secondly, on the basis of theoretical analysis in the three-dimensional laser marking process, the relationship between the coordinates of spatial point and the position of corresponding dynamic lens were derived. According to the light path laser in the process of marking, the relationships of positions and ratio about the points on the different plane were calculated when marking on curved surface, the corresponding formulas were got.Third, based on the STL of three-dimensional surface model, the algorithm about how three-dimensional surface unwrapped to a two-dimensional plane was researched, the converted relationship between three –dimensional surface data and two-dimensional data was pushed out, and optimization algorithm about curved surfaces?distortion correction ?the proportion of fitting were designed.Finally, according to derive conclusions and experimental data, system parameters were obtained through reverse engineering principle, software of marking platform was designed, and three-dimensional surface of the object was carved and the results were analyzed.In the last of the paper a number of shortcomings of the system were described, some ideas were put forward as a follow-up study about the direction of improvement.
