The rapid development of Internet technology has greatly promoted the emergence of web applications, and web applications have deeply expanded into every corner of life. The web front-end is the first but the most important defense line of the applications, directly face to the users and determines the web application's function, user experience and service quality. Before production, a web application will do a lot of self-test, QA testing, and code review, but the complex network environment and the uncompatible browser environment has brought great challenges to the stability and accuracy of the web application. Once the exceptions happened in the front-end of the web application, it will directly lead to the loss of traffic, profits and users. How to monitor the exceptions in the front-end of web applications in real user environment timely and accurately, which can help them quickly and accurately locate, analysis and resolve the exceptions, has become a very urgent problem. Therefor this paper presents an exception monitoring scheme of web front-end in real user environment, and construts a real-time monitoring and alarm platform of web front-end exceptions, which is simple, efficient and extensible.Firstly, the paper conducts a full research and summary for the status of web front-end exceptions monitoring at home and abroad, analysis the deficiencies of the existing monitoring scheme and system design, tease out the requirements of the web front-end real-time exceptions monitoring and alarm platform. Next detailed design and implement the functions of the platform on B/S development model and MEAN stack, such as base function management, exceptions monitoring, exceptions alarm, exceptions' data visualization and so on. Finaly the paper take a very comprehensive testing and analysis of the platform to verify the integrity and robustness of each module.The platform is based on open source framework entirely, it has a very high maintainability, scalability and portability. It can provide front-end exceptions monitoring and alarm services for Web applications. The exceptions data it collect is very aboundant and accurate, the alarm service it provided is timely and reliable. The platform solved the hard problem of front-end exceptions monitoring and alarm, which troubled web developers for a long time. It provides a very powerful tool for web front-end developers, which has a very high significance in theoretical guidance and practical application value.
