Interruption handling mechanism and exception handling mechanism plays a veryimportant role for DSP processing in a real-time environment. It is able to improve theefficiency and throughput of DSP. Researching and designing the interruption andexception handling system is very significant for designing and application of DSP.At first, this paper has an in-depth study in the interrupt and exception based onYHFT-MP DSP. It analyzes, designs and implements the interruption and exceptionmodule based on YHFT-MP DSP.And, the interrupt and exception module are validatedbased on the Simulation and code coverage. Secondly, it designs and realizes a methodof the system level and column break verification program. Finally, it tries to verify theinterrupt system of YHFT-MP DSP in the operating system level. The research job ofthe thesis mainly includes the following aspects:1. It researches the structure of the overall YHFT-MP DSP, the pipelining andthe kernel deeply, and analyses the connection between the exception andinterruption and the other components.It generalizes and summarizes theresearch relation to the interrupt of DSP, especially focuses on the interruptsource, the interrupt classification, and the general structure of the interruptmodule of the YHFT-MP DSP, and the interrupt detecting and handlingmechanism principle are studied in detail.2. The interrupt module based on YHFT-MP DSP is designed and implemented.On the basis of in-depth research of the principle of the detection andprocessing mechanism of the interruption. It makes the interrupt handling statecut and optimize based on the characteristics of architecture and the instructionset of the YHFT-MP DSP, improving the stability and the speed of entering tothe interrupt service program, which meets the requirements of an embeddedchip in a real-time environment.3. It generalizes and summarizes the research relation to the exception of DSP. Itresearches the exception source, the exception classification, and the generalstructure of the exception module of the YHFT-MP DSP deeply, and theexception detecting and handling mechanism principle are studied in detail.4. The exception module based on YHFT-MP DSP is designed and implemented.On the basis of in-depth research of the principle of the detection andprocessing mechanism of the exception. It makes the exception handling statecut and optimize based on the characteristics of architecture and the instructionset of the YHFT-MP DSP, improving the stability and the speed of response tothe events of the mistakes, which meets the requirements of DSP processing ina real-time environment.5. A new method of the system level and column break verification program is put forward, designed and implemented. It discusses about the verifiablemethod of the interruption and exception, and some instructions.And, theinterrupt and exception are validated based on the Simulation and codecoverage. On the basis of in-depth understanding of the architecture ofYHFT-MP DSP, it has carried on the transplant of embedded Linux operatingsystem, and on the Angle of the operating system, tries to validate the interruptsystem of YHFT-MP DSP.
