With the popularity of private car in China,the parking difficulty has emerged as a serious issue in major cities.The deployment of parking guidance system is an important means of solving this problem.Considering that the guidance information in many parking lots is lacking or insufficient,this paper will design and realize a parking guidance system to improve the parking efficiency and assist those users to park with ease.By researching the development status of parking guidance system and the actual parking condition in the local area,the author will make a detailed analysis on the functional needs of the parking guidance system.The modular design will be adopted.This guidance system has consisted of three modules,namely the entrance&exit control module,area control module and parking-space status identification module.With the aid of the technologies for bus communication and image signal transmission,the author will realize the hardware platform for the guidance system.Through the design process of embedded software and upper computer software,the overall operation of the guidance system will be also realized.The circuit design for the system hardware will include the design and realization of the schematic drawing for the entrance&exit control module,area control module and parking-space status identification module.The entrance&exit control module will include the STC15 SCM-based ground induction coil for incoming vehicle detection,gateway control,voice broadcast,485 communication and power circuit design.The area control module will include the STM32 SCM-based 1 master-8 slave multi-machine communication and circuit design for CAN bus communication.The parking-space status identification module will include the ultrasonic parking detection,traffic light indication and camera image signal transmission circuit design.The design of system software will take the form of operation process design and self-defined communication protocol design.It has included the embedded software process design for the entrance control module,the upper computer software process design for the entrance and exit,the embedded software process design and upper computer software process design for the area control module as well as the embedded software process design for the parking-space status identification module.It should be noted that this paper has designed and realized a method for the time-sharing long-distance transmission of the multi-channel image signal.This method can be applied to collecting the image of each sparking space in the large-scale underground parking lot.Hence,it is an effective means of realizing the intensive management for the parking guidance system.Lastly,the author will also test the hardware and software of the guidance system in terms of principle and application.This guidance system has been deployed in a large underground parking lot.The test result regarding the efficiency of parking guidance will be presented in the unit of second.It is concluded that the parking guidance system in this paper will realize the parking guidance in the large-scale underground parking lot.Besides improving the parking efficiency,it can also make the system more feasible and scalable.
