Overhead traveling crane plays a very important role in the industry production process, and take the overhead crane as the research object in this paper. The study on overhead crane is very complicated such as bridge structure complexity and large work volume on analysis, etc. In view of the characteristics putting forward the design with calculation, creat 3D modles,finite element analysis and generate design specification of its integrated solutions, applied parameters technology, CAD technology, CAE technology design methods in the design process on the base of the traditional design patterns. In this way it can short design cycle of hoisting machinery products,and also can decrease the workload of the mechanical designers.Using the C # programming language for programming in Visual Studio2012 development environment. By calling the Solid Works 2012 to implement the automatic modeling of parametric parts and various parameterized parts masked, good bridge structure of the three-dimensional model will be built directly into its own plug-in Simulation parameterized perform finite element analysis. Validation of bridge structure under extreme conditions, its static strength and stiffness on the dangerous section of the main girder. On the basis of those, we developed the “bridge crane Partial rail box girder modeling and analysis system,” the system is divided into modules bridge design, bridge ensemble modeling module, bridge module assembly, finite element analysis module and design specification creation module.This paper implements the function such as the check of general overhead bridge crane structure, parametric 3D modeling, parametric assembly,parametric finite element analysis, generated the design specification on the same system. At the same time, it reduce the intensity of the design staff and improve the design efficiency of bridge crane.
