With the rapid development of computer technology and the increasing maturity of 3D modeling technology,3D model has gradually become the fourth generation of multimedia data after sound,image and video.At the same time,the intelligent mobile phone,tablet computer hardware performance improve so fast.People have more requirements for the graphical interactive experience of mobile terminals.And the wide application of 3D scene from the PC began turning to mobile terminal equipment.But comparing with the high-end graphics workstation and desktop PC,mobile terminal resources are extremely limited,three-dimensional model shows efficiency needs to be improved.For displaying 3D model in the mobile terminal,in order to get a realistic display of visual tend to have tens of thousands of polygons,sometimes as many as millions of polygons,which put forward very high requirements of real-time display;Therefore,the display of the 3D model in the presence of the mobile terminal,reduce the complexity of the scene has become the key to achieve real-time display.The Traditional method of reducing scene complexity are mainly include segmentation method based on scene segmentation,patch elimination method based on visibility culling and display strategy based on level of detail model.However,these methods can not effectively solve the problem of mobile resources,the method based on detail level model also greatly improves the memory overhead,so it is not suitable for application in mobile terminal.Therefore,the above problems are studied in this paper,a novel algorithm for 3D model patch generation was proposed based on shape classification tree.By extracting database information such as type and shape attributes of the models,3D models were represented by shape classification tree.The scale coefficient was estimated by 0-1 normalization method for classification tree node of interactive selection.After estimating the scale coefficient,the display accuracy of the model was confirmed and 3D model patch was generated.In addition,according to the interaction and display characteristics of the mobile terminal,considering the actual needs of the 3D model,design and define a variety of multi-touch gestures to support 3D model browsing.As mentioned before,this paper designs and realizes a fast display system for 3D model in mobile terminal which could fast select model node,and implementation model display and interactive browsing.It has been used in roaming in the process plant model and three-dimensional model correction.The experimental result proved the feasibility and effectiveness of this method.
