This paper is in the context of the need of “Museum Display Design and SpaceRealization of Beijing key laboratory”of Begijing University of Technology. Based onGestural Interaction technology and glasses-free3D technology, this paper will deeplyanalyze the relationships among visitors, and interactive display appliances. Besidesthat, on the basis of this analysis, this paper proposes a design method about theinteractive presentation of autostereoscopic3D displays. Details and results are asfollows:(1)This paper first proposes an interactive mode that combines Kinect andautostereoscopic3D displays techniques. This mode is guided by user orienteddesign concepts which makes full use of the real-time rendering effect ofautostereoscopic3D display techniques, and Kinect motion-sensor technology. Itbreaks through the limitations of traditional autostereoscopic3D display techniquesthat can only play videos. On the basis of the real-time rendering effect, it adds theinteractive means which traditional autostereoscopic3D display techniques cannotrealize. It will create a natural, harmonious and real communicative environment.(2)This paper puts forwards a multilayer design method for the interactivepresentation of autostereoscopic3D displays. This method is guided by the theory ofhierarchical structure. According to combined autostereoscopic3D displaystechniques, and Kinect motion-sensor technology, this method proposes differentdesign methods in different layers of the design. Namely the target layer, functional layer, interactive layer, vision layer, and presentation layer. The multilayerdesign method can reduce designers’ work, and shorten the circle of designing andproducing, so as to increase designing efficiency.(3) this paper carries out a design method for two-dimensional content, such as, thecase of Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, following this painting’s specialcharacteristicssuch as its content, colors, sand pecial arrangement. Then the researcherapplies animation design on them to realize a three-dimensional reconstruction. Thisbuilds a visual three-dimensional space that combines vitality and reality, which ispresent on the scene.(4) This paper also proposes a design method for three-dimensional content. Anexample of this istheiece,“Through-wall Expert”. The researcher analyzes the means of production and presentation methods in three-dimensional content, and proposes adesigning process for the interactive presentation of autostereoscopic3D displays. Itsolves the current problems existing in the fields of autostereoscopic3D displayswhich are the production process is multifarious; the circle is long; and the cost ishigh. It builds the foundation for advocating autostereoscopic3D display techniques. All in all, this paper carries out an interactive presentation method in whichvisitors are invided to take part.. Meanwhile, it has also found a design method forrealizing interactive presentations of autostereoscopic3D displays. By developing theprograms in the fields of two-dimensional and three-dimensional content, it widensthe market of autostereoscopic3D displays. This is meaningful for research in theinteractive presentation of multi-media.
