Today, the network and embedded technology are developed well. The demand for real-time transmission of video is also increasing. Workshop automated production line becomes more and more intelligent, Especially dangerous and harmful production line, they need the wireless video transmission technology particularly. As the mobile phone portable and powerful, it has become a necessity of modern life. So, mobile phones and computers can be monitored at the same time be a demand for people.This paper focuses on the study of the wireless video transmission scheme,slecting the S3C2440 as the microprocessor with the ARM-Linux as the embedded terminal architecture. Firstly, with the transmission protocol of HTTP selected as the transmission protocol, a transmission scheme for the transmission network via encrypted WiFi selected, the software and hardware platform the construction of environment are built and carried out. And the video is collected by programming with the Linux kernel with V4L2 interface. The video transmission server designed partly for the JPEG image compression, the video is transmitted to the client through the video server and the WEB server with HTTP push technology. In order to ensure the feasibility of compression algorithm and get better compression effect, some research are conducted focusing on the JPEG compression scheme and also the simulation experiment is carried out on Matlab.In addition, in order to ensure the security and integrity of video data, we encrypt the WiFi network so that the embedded terminal connects to the encrypted Wi Fi network. The Clients can visit the WEB server through at a computer terminal, monitoring real-time video. And the Android development environment and the mobile APP development being built enable a user to monitor real-time video through the IP and port number. Finally, experiments are carried out to verify the feasibility of the whole system.
