As a new type of clean fuel, liquefied gas has many characteristics like high caloric value and eco-friendly. It has been widely used in our daily life. However, as a dangerous chemical product, the leaking of liquefied gas could lead to serious consequences like explosions, causing financial loss or even casualties. Therefore, to prevent accidents caused by liquefied gas, it is very important to develop efficient, convenient and intellectual monitoring system.This essay is written in view of the rapid development of internet and smart phones. By analyzing the domestic and foreign data fusion and flammable gas monitoring systems, this essay presents the structure and thoughts of portable liquefied gas monitoring system based on data fusion algorithm. It analyzes from demand, designs the whole system according to the design idea, software architecture, database design etc. The portable end is designed and developed via IOS platform. If it is connected to WIFI or portable internet, we could control application scenariors gas valve and the fan. At the same time we could also check all the values in real-time. The main content and innovative ideas are as follows: 1. Accomplished the design and the whole model of the client-end of portable liquefied gas monitoring system via IOS platform. To ensure it is functional, I made some improvements on the original server and gateway. Also accomplished control and deployment of data fusion. By taking tests, we have confirmed that this monitoring system meets the demands. 2. Performed research on applying data fusion to this monitoring system and put it into use. Aiming at multi-sensor we used in the system, proposed to blend the data of sensors using data fusion, so that we can reduce the network traffic when requesting from the portable end. At the same time, the result of data fusion is being analyzed in the portable end so that all the functions in the portable end are working. We have confirmed that data fusion used in this essay can be perfectly applied to the system. This method ensures both instantaneity and accuracy when performing data fusion, comparing to regular methods.The portable liquefied gas monitoring system has passed the acceptance inspection by BSTC, it can be very useful to the safety management of liquefied gas.
