The National Bureau of Statistics shows that till 2015 there are totally 222 million old people over 60 years old which is 16.1% of the total population. China has entered the aging society. With the old-aging problem becomes more and more serious there are more and more problems caused by this. This situation has brought the whole society a big burden. A lot of old people have chronic diseases, and long-term monitoring of the chronic diseases plays very important role in the management of the health of old people and also provides reference data for the medical staff. Long-term monitoring need a huge amount of labor input, so a good monitoring system for old people can bear a lot of work of the children and inform any sudden situation happen on the old people once it happened, like the fell down. Therefore this system can decrease the risk of any sequela.This project, focus on the technology of physiological parameter acquisition system and wireless transmission mode, and analyze the significance of long-term monitoring of oxygen saturation and body temperature. Using the Bluetooth wireless transmission technology and Android system built up a health monitoring system of old people combined with sensor technology and embedded technology. This function of this system includes data acquisition of oxygen saturation and body temperature, making judgment if there's a fell down. The portable design and wearable sensor are used, which make the system more practical.Finally,the monitoring system described in this paper has been tested. The test results show that this system can do the data acquisition of oxygen saturation and body temperature successfully, and make correct judgment of the fell down. The measurements of oxygen saturation is between 95% and 98%, the error range of temperature is from 0.3 ? to-0.3?, the accuracy of fall detection is above 75%, the result achieves the desired goal. This system deserves expanding and has a wide application prospect in the future.
