Ion mobility spectrometry is a new trace substance analysis technology.IMS is now widely used in drugs, explosives, chemical warfare agents and environmental pollutants rapid detecting, with its high sensitivity, fast detection speed, low power consumption, small volume and room temperature working environment.Suitable temperature, humidity and carrier gas flow rate can effectively improve the ion production rate and utilization rate, and in a certain extent, improve the ion mobility spectrometer analysis accuracy and efficiency, so as to improve the sensitivity and selectivity of instrument. However, the existing IMS in the laboratory can only regulate the physical quantity at PC, and can not achieve precise quantitative control on the ion mobility spectrometer, which limit the operation and miniaturization of the instrument.Firstly, the working principle of the IMS, device structure and technology application were introduced in this work. The effects of temperature, humidity and flow rate on the analysis and determination of ion mobility spectrometer were described. Then analyzed the characteristics of the DAPCI-IMS and discussed the necessity of the development of ion mobility spectrometer parameter control system based on STM32.Secondly, the performance requirements of the parameter control system based on STM32 are analyzed. The overall design scheme was proposed, the various modules of the system, hardware circuit design, interface circuit design, key circuit working principle were detailed analyzed. The PCB circuit board of the whole system was designed and manufactured. Based on the hardware circuit, the software design method was analyzed, and the program flow chart and the key program of each module were given. The GUI human computer interface was designed, and the whole system is constructed.Finally, the test platform of DAPCI-IMS parameter control system was set up. The overall test of the system was carried out and the test results were analyzed and summarized. The results showed that, each module of the control system was achieved the desired design goals. It can accurately control the different reaction parameters, which has the advantage of low cost, easy to use, strong flexibility and so on. This study improved the detection sensitivity and selectivity of the ion mobility spectrometerto a certain extent, which lay the foundation for the further miniaturization of the instrument.
