2015 is the 50 th year of the founding of the Singapore. During the 50 years, Singapore's development has attracted worldwide attention, becoming one of the "Asian dragons". The development and achievement of Singapore is inseparable from the Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew. Lee Kuan Yew, who has fame “the father of Singapore," became the first prime minister in Singapore in 1959 and stepped down in 1990. In a short span of 30 years, lee Kuan Yew creates a large enough living space in Singapore which space is very narrow.Singapore's political system is authoritarian political system. This article will mainly use content analysis and literature analysis, combined with Lee Kuan Yew's works and biography to specific analysis of his political communication theory and practice, in order to summarize the reasons for the success of Singapore from the perspective of communication, analyzes its existing problems, and sum up experience, to provide reference.This article mainly divides into four parts. First, introduce the Lee Kuan Yew and Singapore, including Singapore's history, the status of the Lee Kuan Yew in Singapore, etc.; Secondly, to illustrate their political ideology from the aspect of authoritarian, democracy, freedom and integrity; The third part will spread from Lee Kuan Yew's medium view, function view, concept of the liberty and public opinion to interpret his ideology; The final part is to talk about the design of the system of Lee Kuan Yew and Singapore and summarize the existing disadvantages.
