PLC(Programming Logic Control) plays an important role in the field of equipment manufacture and factory automation. With the development of electronics and computer technology, the embedded soft PLC has a rapid development. Compared to traditional hard PLC, embedded soft PLC has advantages as follows: open hardware system structure, easier networking, global programming language of IEC61131-3 standard, and being cost effective, etc.Our research group has developed the embedded soft PLC, which runs in the ARM environment. The application development environment is Beremiz. The PLC also has developed the motion control system based on PLCopen standard. Therefore, the platform is standardized and open.This article focuses on the application development of the embedded soft PLC and its general method and summary of some problems. I have designed shearing machine control system and four servo axis eccentricity vibration control system. I will introduce my article from the following four aspects: the theory of embedded soft PLC system, the design of the shearing machine control system, the design of four servo axises eccentricity vibration control system.Firstly, the design of the shearing machine control system. According to the mechanical noumenon and shearer technological process. I have designed the logic control and servo axis motion control. We control the plate shearing length through the single axis servo motion control; we control the blade gap and shear angle through the feedback of the potentiometer. The proportional relief valve is simplified to multiple digital control.Secondly, the design of four servo axises eccentricity vibration control system. We control the servos in position model, the motion control functions are designed based on PLCopen standard. The master axis rotates in set of speed and the slave axis fellow it. In order to adjust its relative displacement, we should decrease a number of pulses to the slave axis.Thirdly, the common problems of IEC61131-3 application development. By experience, We include the five categories programming languages' advantages in developing PLC application, especially the SFC and ST languages. We also solve some problems in application development. Last but not least, We summary the general operating mode of the equipment development.
