Research On High-speed Document Scanners Electrical Control System

The high-speed document scanner is an important information-based input device which can convert the paper document information into electronic document information. Aiming at the problems of inefficiency and low stability of high-speed scanner caused by its control system, this paper researches the core control technology of the high-speed document scanner. Based on the TMS320C6474 multicore DSP processor of Texas Instruments, this paper completes the design of electrical control system of high-speed document scanner.First of all, the relevant theory and mathematical model of the brushless DC motor control are studied. Then build the mathematical model related to the brushless DC motor control, analyze the torque ripple of the brushless DC motor, and propose the torque feedback method and PWM chopping method respectively to suppress electromagnetic torque ripple and commutation torque ripple.Secondly, the features and problems of the high-speed document scanner control system are analyzed. Based on the demand for high-speed document scanner, the overall program of hardware of control system and software system are designed. The main components and software algorithms are determined in the system. On this basis, this paper proposes a method of combining the BP neural network algorithm and the classic PID control algorithm to control the brushless DC motor of high-speed document scanner. The efficiency and the control system performance of high-speed document scanner are improved.Finally, the detailed design of hardware and software of the entire high-speed document scanner control system are completed. The detailed design schematics and program workflow diagram of each module are provided, and the designing scheme of system experimental test is also provided. The hardware and software of the system can meet the design requirements.This paper tests the electrical control system of high-speed document scanner completely. According to the test results, the electrical control system designed in this paper can improve the performance and the stability of high-speed document scanner effectively, which also has important significance in enhancing the scanning effect, work efficiency and product quality of the entire scanner.
