The material distribution plays an important role in the internal management of enterprises, ensuring the normal operation of the production line. Fast and efficient material distribution can reduce the production cost. In the enterprise's internal management, reduce the cost of production can improve the competitiveness of enterprises, while enterprises of small batch production pattern requires enterprises to improve the use rate of materials and equipment, in response to consumer demand. So the study of material distribution on the assembly line has the vital significance to the enterprise production.The research content of this paper is how to at the right time, will deliver the right material to the correct position, so as to ensure the smooth operation of the assembly line. Therefore, the main purpose of this paper is from the perspective of material distribution point of view, the distribution system of material assembly line suitable for manufacturing enterprises to optimize. The logistics distribution system as a subsystem of the production logistics system, is an important guarantee for the smooth production logistics. This paper first discusses the assembly oriented enterprises and existing problems in material distribution, and related theory of material distribution are introduced; the second is the brief introduction of typical structure production line logistics delivery system and operation style; then it focuses on the mathematical model for material distribution design and optimization, and ordering time window is determined based on the line while the inventory management models, on the basis of the model of material delivery is established based on the material requirement plan; and then the established mathematical model of vehicle scheduling, reasonable planning on the path of vehicles, meet the optimization objectives related to cost minimization.The innovation point of this article lies in the vehicle scheduling model with time windows, by way of material order point change line while generating time window, a mathematical model of material delivery according to time window. In this paper, the implementation of the genetic algorithm by MATLAB, the optimization of vehicle routing problem in a different order point of the solution obtained, and compared, thereby to effectively control the line side inventory, to enable enterprises to better reduce the cost, improve the production logistics management level, thereby increasing the core competitiveness of enterprises.
