Research On The Application Of Distributed Base Station

From 2011 onwards, MCPA based distributed base station equipment has been introduced for mobile wireless network base station gradually in Shanghai, thereby speeding up the evolution from 2G to 3G. Since then, the BBU + RRU mode of the MCPA-based distributed base station has been widely deployed, which not only reduces the difficulty and cost in the deployment of the base station, but also reduces energy consumption and achieves social responsibility from the perspective of enterprise.In this thesis, we focus on three major technical challenges involved in the deployment of distributed base station, namely, the construction mode of distributed base station, the installation of remote devices, and the power supply for remote devices. Based on extensive trials and exploration, we construct standardization models and propose recommendations for the related measures of promoting the application of distributed base station in China Mobile.
