Laser communication has become an irreplaceable technology in the field of information transmission in the future. In order to transmit information as a carrier of information, it is necessary to modulate the light wave. In many optical modulators, the electro optic modulator based on electro-optic effect is a key device in the process of signal modulation and modulation. So the research on the modulation technology based on electrooptic modulator is an important technology in the future.As a key technology of electro-optic modulator for phase modulation, phase modulation is a promising application in high speed optical communication. It can improve the transmission performance of signal transmission performance based on phase modulation. It is one of the most widely used modulation mode in laser communication network, which is mainly used in high speed and high capacity optical communication.In this paper, the modulation principle of DQPSK, DPSK and BPSK is analyzed. The simulation results show that the phase modulation of DQPSK is the best, but the function of Optisystem is the most complex, and the BPSK phase modulation is the basis of two modulation modes, which can meet the requirements of 10 Gps modulation. In this paper, the system design and experimental tests are carried out. The results show that the modulation signal is basically the same as that of the simulation results, which is based on the design of DPSK and DQPSK phase modulation system. The new technology of space laser communication has great theoretical significance and practical value.Finally, the entire system is a modulation system evaluation and experiment errors were analyzed by analysis indicated a narrow linewidth stable bias voltage is an effective way to reduce experimental error, the follow-up of design and test other modulation system having good reference significance and practical significance.
