Visible light communication(VLC) is a new type of wireless optical communication technology developed rapidly in recent years. It can construct the indoor visible light communication and visible light positioning network by realizing the transmission function through the additional data information on the basic lighting facilities and combining the communication and the indoor illumination light source. It is based on the rapid establishment of visible signal optical link to achieve high quality communication and high precision positioning of VLC, while due to the position of ordinary optical concentrator is fixed, the receiving end can only passively receive optical signal, not to maintain a stable and efficient communication links, it has great limitations for application scenarios of indoor VLC communication and positioning.In this paper, according to the problems of mobility limitation in the application of VLC communication and positioning, the main research work is as follows:(1) The specific link mode, network scene and light source characteristics of VLC directional receiving are analyzed. The position of light source is judged by the relationship between the received signal strength changes with the relative distance and angle, a new design scheme of VLC directional antenna is proposed.(2) The hardware of the VLC directional antenna is designed, including the selection of the device and the hardware circuit design of each functional module, the structure design of the turntable.(3) The software design of the VLC directional antenna is mainly embodied in the control strategy and control algorithm design. The control mode includes scanning mode,positioning mode and tracking mode.(4) VLC directional antenna prototype is installed, and the components of the system installation and debugging of hardware and software, build the experimental platform and the scene, the single lamp alignment experiment and double switch experiment, realized in the communication distance 2.5m of the target information receiving active light source.
