In this paper, fluorescent gold nanoclusters?AuNCs? based photoelectrochemical?PEC? sensors are built for H2O2 and glucose detection which have great value in our daily life. In the past, there are many methods regarding to H2O2 detection like enzyme based chemistry titration, chemiluminescence etc. And, as for glucose detection, some methods like philip-Lin method and glucose oxidase-peroxidase?pod? colorimetric method are mostly used in most groups abroad. However, the most methods above have some advantages like low sensitivity and LOD. Thus, to solve the problem talked above AuNCs based PEC sensors have been built in the paper.Based on the optical, electrochemical, and semiconductive properties of AuNCs, PEC sensing system are achieved in detecting H2O2 and glucose. After that, hardware and software of the system have been studied to make sure the PEC system working well. Before the detecting process we analyze the best testing conditions, which includes that the potential on working electrode, the gold nanoclusters, and the best light wavelength of the light source. In PBS, the results show that the polarities of photocurrent in PBS will relate to the polarities of potentials applied on the working electrode, and the amplitude of photocurrent is linear at each potential. When H2O2 added in PBS in the sensing process, the amplitude of photocurrent will increase with the amplitude of potential. And it worth mentioning that the there is a saturation concentration of H2O2 at which the amplitude of photocurrent will not increase any more with the increase of the H2O2 concentration. The detection for glucose is up to redox reactions between glucose and glucose oxidase, and the H2O2 is the product of the reactions which means that we can detect the H2O2 to achieve the detection of glucose. Therefore, the AuNCs can act as the sensitive material of PEC sensors in detecting H2O2 and glucose.
