More and more people are accustomed to storing, downloading and exchanging data via mobile devices, along with the development of mobile network and devices. Mobile phone has become the most common mobile terminal equipment. The massive documents and the data stored in the mobile phone are of great value. The mobile phones are essential used in daily interaction. To reduce power consumption, and improve the quality of communication,doing the research in cooperative storage and communication is important for us.Network coding has the advantages of saving storage room and reducing the network congestion, the application of network coding(NC) into distributed storage systems(DSS)has drawn a lot of research attentions. In order to tolerate arbitrary combinations of failed storage nodes, the maximum distance separable(MDS) property has been extensively adopted in the design of storage code in DSS. A code is said to possess the(k, n) MDS property if the original information is divided into k packets which are then encoded into n( n ?k) packets,any k out of these n packets are able to recover the original k packets. In this paper, for NC-structured DSS, we design a novel MDS-ZD(8, 4) storage code that has the following advantages and properties: 1) operation within binary field; 2) possesses the MDS property, 3)zigzag decodable which has low decoding complexity; 4) the required storage overhead is much less, save storage cost; 5) symmetric storage room among storage nodes which avoids complicated storage room allocation procedure.Through the coordination and cooperation between the users, each users can greatly improve their communication efficiency. Therefore cooperative communication has become a hot topic. What's more, inspired by cooperative thinking, we can incorporate device-to-device(D2D) to current cellular communication system. Within this system, we propose a communication mechanism to aid traditional cellular communication and correspondingly borrow some channel resource from traditional cellular communication system for D2 D communication. 1)to aid cellular communication, this thesis propose a modified Alamouti scheme which does not modify the operation at the base station. This makes our proposedscheme consistent with previous cellular communication system. 2) within the D2 D group,there are multi-user want to communicate. Two power allocation schemes for two pairs of users in wireless network is proposed and studied. A non-cooperative scheme called iterative water-filling and a cooperative scheme called cooperative broadcasting. We compare these two schemes and identify conditions under which cooperation brings benefit. This provides fundamental basis for adaptive schemes that switches among these schemes. 3) there are many competitive D2 D groups that want to potentially utilize the borrowed channel resource from traditional cellular system for delivering their own information. We model this competition as a game and utilize game theory technique to solve this competition problem.
