Up to now with the development of the wireless communication, people's requirement of the data transmission and the QoS increases continuously. Differing from the 1st and the 2nd generation wireless communication systems which mainly transmit voice service, the 3rd and the 4th generation wireless communication systems support multimedia broadband data traffic with a transmission rate as high as 100Mbps~1Gbps. With a given sending power, symbol energy decreases linearly with the increasing of the transmission rate. Since traditional cellular structure can not guarantee the reliability or the effectiveness of transmission, people have started to use multi-hop transmission and cooperation diversity technology. Current study outcomes show that cooperation communication method improves the network performance a lot.The game theory serves as a tool for analyzing and solving contradict and cooperation. It gains a wide-spread application in many fields such as management science, international politics, bionomics, and industry controlling. In the late 90s, in the research of network resource allocation, international and domestic scholars have tried to use some economics means for reference. Recently the study hot spot is to introduce the game theory and the marketing mechanism to manage the wireless resources. They mainly pay attention to power control, bandwidth allocation and rate control, etc.At first, the background of this thesis, the basic development of the current wireless multimedia communication system, the main idea and significance of the research are introduced. Then, the theory of cooperation communication including the definition of the cooperation communication, relay communication technology, multi-hop cellular network and user cooperating diversity technology are outlined. And then, some basic game theory related knowledge including the definition of the game theory, the model of the game theory and the type of the game theory are presented. Then, a classical game theory model, Prisoner Dilemma, is analyzed. At last, analysis of economics and game theory in the wireless multimedia network resource allocation are discussed. Then, this thesis proposes a classical fading model and a two ray model to build up a single relay single terminal transmission model. Based on the calculation of the code error rate, it analyzes the improvement of the network transmission performance due to the cooperation transmission. C-ARO retransmission model is used to calculate average retransmission delay. Taking distance between the user and the BS and the arriving rate of the traffic frame as observation points, delay improvement is analyzed. The modeling and the performance analysis of this chapter verify the improvement in the reliability and effectiveness in transmission of the cooperation communication. And then, this thesis proposes a CDMA wireless multimedia network cooperation resource management strategy based on the confirming of 3 game elements and the building of the game model. This strategy finds a solution for the Nash Equilibrium through confirming the value of forwarding price and forwarding resource. It verifies the result's effectiveness using the Pareto optimality. At last, the feasibility and the rationality of the game theory used in cooperation resource allocation are demonstrated through theoretical analysis. Simulation results have shown that, supported by the proposed strategy, the network performance is much better than that by using determinate price to allocate radio resources. Finally, the thesis is concluded.
