There has been a sharp rise in demand for land and a very prominent contradictions between people and land since entering the industrialization and urbanization, which has restricted the sustainable development of human society. Therefore, it is a great significance to optimize the land use structure and solve problem of allotting land resources reasonably in space and quantity.Taking the Songzi city as an example, this paper firstly analyzed the land use actuality and identified the problem, and then evaluated land suitability by using the spatial principal component analysis. Ultimately, three kinds of scenarios were designed for simulating the coordinated development of economy and ecology by using the Artificial Bee Colony algorithm, the land use structure of Songzi City was optimized in 2020. The main task and conclusion as follows:(1)Based on the analysis of land use structure, land use change degree, land use dynamics, and land use transition matrixes, it could be found that the proportion of construction land is too large whether the proportion of grassland is too small, some woodland are poor quality and the protection of water area is not enough, the unutilized land are not developed enough, moreover, there exists unreasonable land use phenomena such as construction land occupies farmland and garden plot.(2)The land suitability of farmland, garden plot, woodland and grassland of Songzi city are evaluated by the method of principal component analysis, which results show that the area of highly suitable farmland, garden plot, woodland and grassland is 801.62km2, 509.32km2, 274.15km2, 1053.54km2, respectively.(3)Through setting the economic priority scenario, economy and ecology treated equally scenario and the ecological priority scenario, based on the Artificial Bee Colony algorithm, this paper comparatively analyzes the land use optimization schemes and selects the ecology treated equally scheme. The optimized area of farmland, garden plot, woodland, grassland, water area, construction land and unutilized land is 1033.52km2, 75.54km2, 541.97 km2, 10.36km2, 251.12km2, 252.98 km2 and 11.45 km2, respectively. The economic function value could reach 4441731.83 ten thousand yuan and the ecological function value could reach 585107.59ghm2. Finally, according to the dividing results of ecological function areas and economic main functional areas, the land suitability evaluation and the land use actuality are combined, the land use optimizing results in Songzi City are allotted in space and a series of optimizing strategy are proposed...
