Decision Tree Applied Research In Land Use Planning

China is in the accelerating process of industrialization and urbanization now , the problems have become outstanding and prominent on the resources, environment and development. Land use planning, as a significant macro-regulation means, has played an important role in harmonizing the relationship between the human and land resource. The land suitability evaluation is an important research topic about the overall plan of land use. The evaluation can provide scientific evidence for the analysis of the present condition,the planning of the land using,the land exploitation and land resource reasonable using.Through research of the land suitability evaluation method , it has analyzed that deficiency of traditional evaluation method: Most of them relies on the experience knowledge, and it have not the learning capability itself. This article has applied unification between the classified algorithm theory and the land suitability appraisal theory, and it obtained method the land suitability evaluation of decision tree.In this article, the result indicated unification between the computer decision tree theory and the land suitability appraisal is scientific through the decision tree sorter which produces has carried on the test. It opened the new application domain for the mature decision tree classification technology , simultaneously it has provided the new mentality for the land suitability assessment method.
