According to statistics,along with the rapid development of China's catering industry,Consumers to service and experience is also more and more high, catering industry is also facing the pressure, because of rapid increases in raw material prices and the cost of human resources, so how to improve efficiency and reduce costs become the management of catering industry the first consideration.This paper design of the self-service ordering system for customer, through this Android system to realize the buffet meal, closing,provide ordering process simple and fastto provide for the customer, the managers can make system management, database updates and sales statistics analysis by this system, in order to good dining experience for consumers, Save time and personnel costs for catering industry.This paper firstly introduces the background and theoretical knowledge of catering information system, according to the development method of software engineering, to analyze this system. Based on the analysis of demand, overall functional design for system and detailed analysis and design for each function module and database,then based on the Myeclipse environment, to build the Web service interface, according to Web service realizes interactive Android buffet meal and catering system, Using Java language to realize the function module of the system. Finally, put forward a kind of sales forecast analysis module function which is based on data warehouse technology,According to the characteristics of catering enterprises, design a kind of decision tree classification based on time sequence of moving average forecasting model, the model using the decision tree algorithm and the historical sales data based on actual sales of food and beverage enterprise generates classification rules, and then the corresponding sales data to predict time points automatically categorized according to its features, the historical sales data with the same characteristics of a moving average calculation, it is concluded that predict time points in food sales, so as to calculate the degree of the raw material consumption, to the lowest extent, reduce the volatility, the influence of seasonal factors such as the restaurant inventories.
