Research On Narrative Strategies Of Data Journalism

Date journalism is a new way of reporting the news which is rising in the digital data network and the big data background. Through data-driven and visualization, data journalism brings lots of new reading experiences and shocking, it is one of the most important directions of journalism. But data journalism narrative mode is still in the exploratory stage. It is the focus on the development of data journalism, that how the data visualization and news stories to better combined and attract readers participate in.In order to search for effective data news narrative strategy, this paper studied the domestic and international award-winning data or influential news from the perspective of narrative. Through that, we can find out how to use data journalism to tell good stories in the age of digital media.Through research we find that, in order to tell stories, the press not only expanded the image narrative function, but also through a hyperlink on visual images, text, sound and video and other multimedia elements for effective composition, and interactive design to attract readers to interact. Data journalism has changed the traditional news narrative mode, with the visualization, multimedia, and interactive and intertextuality characteristics of digital media era, and more in line with the times and the needs of readers, but also tells the stories better.Finally, the paper also found that more than the status quo and problems of domestic data with research results, to explore the reason why lots of domestic news has been short of the narrative, and which ways domestic media can be learned.
