The Narrative Analysis Of Data Journalism Report

In the era of ubiquitous big data,data news has turned boring text into observable,audible,and sensible stereoscopic symbols.The continuous advancement of visualization technology has changed the traditional news narrative.Data news narrative has become a new research object.The complexity of data news narrative lies in the multi-media participation in the narrative.How to combine data,charts and text organically,use valuable data to tell good news stories,and develop a more interactive narrative mode is the key to improve the level of narrative.This thesis attempts to study the data news reporting platform with a good momentum of development in the country from the perspective of news narratology the column of “Meishuke”.Compared with traditional news,the content of data news has many differences.The author will use the text analysis method and case study method to quantitatively analyze the narrative content with the help of the content coding table.Under the guidance of narratology theory,the narrative analysis is carried out on the column of “Meishuke”.From the narrative structure,narrator,narrative theme,narrative time and narrative perspective,combined with typical cases to study.From the perspective of data news narrative application,we will summarize the shortcomings of the “Meishuke” data news reporting narrative strategy at the end to provide a practical reference for the narrative strategy of domestic data news reporting platforms.The data news narrative in the column of “Meishuke” breaks through the flat traditional news narrative,and the multi-media narrative with pictures as its main feature is its outstanding feature.The “Meishuke” narrative style is unique.With the advantages of its own picture design,it expands the picture narrative,and integrates some audio and video narrative and interactive narrative content,which fully meets the user's reading needs and aesthetic demand.Finally,this thesis puts forward suggestions on the narrative strategies of the “Meishuke” column,and contributes meager strength to how other domestic data news reporting platforms can tell Chinese stories well.
