With the rise of mobile internet, all kinds of mobile terminal equipment have become an essential part of the people's daily life. People nowadays like to take pictures with their mobile phones and share them through internet because of the rise of mobile applications like micro-blog and wechat. At the same time, with the rapid development of mobile terminal software and hardware technology, people proposed higher requirements for the quality and processing speed of the photos on their mobile terminal, which makes the intelligent mobile terminal image processing technology a hot direction in the current development of the mobile internet application.According to the current popular mobile application structure and mainstream mobile users' demand, this paper designs and implements a mobile terminal image processing system based on Android mobile system and server image processing system. This system is composed of two parts: the mobile terminal software system and server software system. The client system has the feature of fast processing of images, wireless image data real-time transmission to the server and display the image after rapid image processing and transmission work done by the server. Relying on its powerful computing ability, this system has the ability of handle the high computation complex algorithms, which is difficult for the general image processing applications, which meet the public's improving needs for the quality of mobile images.First of all, on the analysis of the demand of mainstream user for the mobile terminal image processing system, this paper has done intensively study of the key technologies like:Android image loading, instant messaging, Android custom UI, wireless data transmission, GPU hardware acceleration, remote server processing and so on, and has elaborated the building process of client and server development platform and the system overall design scheme.Secondly, this paper describes the modules of client system and the design and realization method of each module. This mobile terminal client software system running in Android system, composed of local image processing, data transmission, instant messaging and UI interface module. It has the feature of the local image processing, parameter configuration, effect display and so on.And then, this paper describes modules of the image processing and instant messaging system, focusing on the description the server image processing framework's design and realization method, and gives example of the complex algorithm realization in server-side. This server operating system based on Linux system with independent Internet IP. The upper module of the system is based on the Java environment, which has the ability of calling the bottom algorithm through the JNI interface. The server system has the feature of remote image processing and real-time communication and remote data interaction based on a custom protocol.Finally, this paper has done function test for the client and server system, and has revealed the test result of the modules like mobile terminal image processing, image of remote server processing, multiport instant messaging, interface module of client system and so on. The test result reveals that this system is a complete mobile terminal system with server image processing capacity and instant communication sharing ability.
