Externally Compared with traditional flame simulation methods, physical parameters(i.e. temperature field and refractive index field) based one possesses an apparent advantage in terms of reality. Physical parameters based flame simulation plays a particularly important role in practice, for it is able to show the special behaviors of combustion flame, i.e. the physically plausible look as a whole, but complex and chaotic behaviors in part. So far, few physical parameters based flame simulation methods are proposed. Due to complex physical mechanism and random behaviors of the flame, it is difficult to measure the physical parameters directly.Image acquisition technology offers a new way for flame physical parameters reconstruction fortunately, but too much physical mechanisms of the flame are simplified in the very way, which leads to unsatisfactory accuracy of the reconstructed physical parameters and visual effect of the flame simulated based on those physical parameters. So it is necessary to do an in-depth study on the reconstruction of the flame physical parameters.In this report, the main work is focused on the temperature field reconstruction of the combustion flame, and the main contribution is that we propose a new model to establish the relationship between the flame radiation and the radiance field, this model fully considers refractive effect caused by refraction index changing. Based on the model, the physical parameters of the flame can be calculated through solving a fixed point problem. The fixed point problem can be solved effectively by convex optimization tools.
