The partial discharge of Gas Insulated Switchgear(Gas Insulated Swithgear,referred to as GIS) is one of the important causes of the accident. Therefore, in order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of GIS, the GIS partial discharge on-line monitoring technology has been studied at home and abroad. How to transmit a large amount of discharge signal to the monitoring system and how to suppress the strong electromagnetic interference from the weak local discharge signal is the difficulty of this research.In this paper, the design principle and network architecture of the GIS partial discharge on-line monitoring system were studied, and the circuit of the GIS partial discharge detection device were designed, mainly including data acquisition unit, signal processing unit, intelligent control unit and data transmission unit of the GIS partial discharge detection device.This paper researched the data transmission method of partial discharge,according to the research of Ultra High Frequency signal detection principle, GIS partial discharge detection device to detect detection processing, and to collect the detection data, the control unit of the device was using the maximum compression algorithm for data processing on the collected data. This paper studied the procedure of the maximum compression algorithm, and the experimental verification was carried out.In this paper, the design of the GIS partial discharge detection device was verified, detected the discharge signal using the GB/T7354 standard, as the standard for determining the discharge signal of GIS partial discharge detection device. When the discharge signal is not detected in the GB/T7354 standard, the GIS partial discharge detection device has been detected, and the discharge signal is increased with the increase of discharge signal. The validity and sensitivity of GIS detection device for detecting partial discharge signal was verified by experiments.In this paper, studied the interference suppression method of GIS partial discharge monitoring system was proposed the method of using the discharge template window to suppress the noise in the GIS partial discharge monitoring system. The partial discharge signal acquired by FFT was used to carry out the Matlab transform, and the frequency domain signal is used as the discharge template; Then, the partial discharge signal with the noise interference was compared with that of the discharge template, and the minimum value of the signal is preserved; Finally, the IFFT transform of the frequency domain signal was processed, and the interference was suppressed, and the characteristics ofpartial discharge signals were enhanced. In this paper, the method was verified by a large number of methods, and it is proved that the method is practical and effective.
