Now,with the rapid development of avionics systems and tremendous progress, avionics technology developed very well, while also being widely applied to the cockpit, so cockpit display system(referred to as CDS) is designed as an important indicator to measure the performance of the aircraft is good or bad. The degree of integration of avionics systems continue to improve, the traditional cockpit display systems development method is no longer meet the increasingly complex needs of avionics systems. As a result, the ARINC661 standard showing up, which makes cockpit display system development has entered a new era. ARINC661 standard is the most important feature is the " display and logic" phase separation, including cockpit display system(CDS) kernel and User Application(UA) in two parts. ARINC661 standard also defines the communication between the two, it is a milestone in the history of avionics systems.In this thesis, we do depth analysis and research to the Widget repository which based on ARINC661 specification. Firstly, we do the Widget library analysis from identification, status, property and other aspects, the overall design of the Widget Library considered separately from the PC and the CDS, where in the PC side thinking in using object-oriented, to achieve the CDS,it relies on the applications of Open GL library. This paper studies the event structures which interacting Widgets involved in the Widget library. Also studied the generation and analysis of DF documents related to Widget library. It is a combination of Picture Library and Symbol Library Design as an implementation of Widget library to make a further explanation.Finally, to illustrate the correctness of this Widget library, this thesis designed several test cases via GUITool for verification. Widget library were drawn from the PC side, PC-side analog core, forms the core of the CDS and interactive events Widget angle verified. For verification DF files, also compared ARINC661 standard definition with the description. Experimental results show that the design and implementation of the Widget Library is reasonably and practicable, the Widget structure and function specified met the ARINC661 standard, while as an important part of cockpit display system graphical interface development tools, it works well.
