Since 2004, graphene with excellent electrical, chemical, and mechanical properties has become a research hotspot in nano materials, and it is an ideal material to make NEMS devices. The graphene micro resonator with high sensitivity, small volume and high resonance frequency has been widely used in sensors, communication and other fields. In this paper, through molecular dynamics software LAMMPS, graphene resonator has been studied, and the mechanical properties of perfect and defect graphene structure have been simulated and analyzed with the AIREBO potential function.This paper mainly includes the following contents.1. This paper introduces the basic properties, the preparation methods and the research status of graphene. The basic concepts and main technology of molecular dynamics method are also introduced.2. According to the structural characteristics of graphene, a micro resonator based on graphene is designed and the size of structure is preliminarily determined. The resonant frequency of graphene resonator is mainly analyzed under different stress. Along with the rising of the external force, the resonance frequency of the graphene is not monotone increasing.3. The temperature effect on the resonance frequency of graphene is analyzed. The simulation temperature is set between 0.1K and 1000K, when the temperature is less than 75K, the resonant frequency is 99.7GHz; when the temperature is from 75K to 1000K, and the resonant frequency is about 132.9GHz. The different chiral and length-width ratio of graphene are analyzed, and the result analysis shows that the chiral had a little effects on the resonance frequency of graphene, and different length-width ratio of graphene had a greater influence on the resonant frequency; when the aspect ratio is about 1.5, the resonance frequency of the armchair graphene is 598GHz; when the aspect ratio is about 10, the resonant frequency of the armchair graphene is about 66.4GHz.4. This paper introduces the defects types of graphene. The graphene structure with single atomic vacancy defects and boundary defects at different temperature influence on the resonance frequency are analyzed, and the simulation temperature is set between 0.1K and 1000K. When the temperature is less than 75K, the resonant frequency is 99.3GHz; when the temperature is from 75K to 1000K, and the resonant frequency is about 132.5GHz. The graphene structure with boundary defects is analyzed through the different stress, and the increase speed of resonance frequency of the graphene structure with boundary defects is less than that of the full graphene structure.
