Cognitive electronic warfare is a kind of technology that can perceive the current environment and change its behavior dynamically. At present, the domestic study of the cognitive electronic warfare is still at the stage of theoretical demonstration and foreign countries have just carried out a number of cognitive electronic warfare projects. Cognitive electronic warfare is the inevitable trend of the development of electronic warfare in the future. So it is of great significance for the study of the cognitive electronic warfare. Cognitive electronic warfare is divided into four modules: cognitive reconnaissance, cognitive jamming, cognitive knowledge base and jamming decision making.In this thesis, a possible organization for the cognitive reconnaissance module in the cognitive electronic warfare isproposed.The theoretical analysis and simulation are carried out. For the reconnaissance module, the processing structure of the module and two kinds of possible processing procedures are given. The advantages and disadvantages of the two processes are analyzed. One of them is used to measure the frequency domain parameters of the reconnaissance system and the spatial parameters.In the measurement of frequency domain parameters, a kind of broadband digital channelized technologyis proposed, which is based on cognitive technology. Conbined with digital channelization and cognitiveprocessing, the cognitive channelized technology is improved.First, transmit the processing results of the traditional digital channelizationmodule to the cognitiveprocessingmodule.Then based on the cognitiveknowledge, the further processing of the transmited processing results is implemented on the cognitiveprocessingmodule. Through the above processes, the basic parameters and the prediction of change trend of the target signal are abtained.According to the above results of the cognitiveprocessing,theparameters of the traditional channel dynamically adjusted to achieve optimum measurement results.For the measurement of spatial parameters, a digital multi beamforming technology based on cognitive technology is proposed. Similar to the proposed cognitive digital channelizedtechnology, the methodis improved on the basis of the traditionaldigital multi beam forming.First use DBF to form multiple beams and the processing results are given to the cognitive processing module. Thenthe further processing of the transmited processing results is implemented based on the cognitiveknowledge base,just as the process of the cognitive digital channelizedtechnology.Finally, according to the above processing, theparameters of the multiple beams are adjusted. The experiment shows that the proposed method can improve the accuracy of direction finding dramatically.
