Cellular neural network(CNN)model can realize the complex dynamical behaviors of chaotic system.As the fourth fundamental circuit component included along with the resistor,capacitor and inductor,called the memristor,which could simulate the storage memory function of brain neural network.Implementation of the CNN with nanoscale nonvolatile memristor has lower power consumption and suitable for VLSI implementation.This article has bring forward the CNN systems model based on memristor and conducted more thorough research and discussion to its numerical and circuit simulation.A CNN based on memristor of combination synchronous control scheme is presented and apply the systems into secure communication.(1)To study the chaotic behavior and circuit simulation of a CNN system based on memristor.A traditional three-dimensional CNN is designed in this paper.The output function of traditional CNN is implemented with the nonlinear characteristics of a flux-controlled memristor.The conventional electronic devices in Multisim are utilized to simulate flux-controlled memristor.To compare with the CNN system which has chaotic behaviors,the circuits of novel memristive cellular neural network not only can show a chaos attractors phenomenon,but also the output function part of the circuits is simplified.Meanwhile,the inner magnetic energy of memristor is change with state of CNN to achieve the equivalent values of output function.The numerical calculation and circuit simulation results verify its chaotic characteristics and feasibility.The simple and flexible design method has characteristics of universality and application value in synchronization communication system,image encryption and speech signal processing.(2)To investigate a new type of compound synchronization of three drive systems and two response systems.Compound synchronization is a novel type of synchronous method based on drive-response method which designed by multiple drive systems and response systems.In this paper,a new type of compound synchronization of three drive systems and two response systems is investigated.According to synchronous control of five memristive cellular neural network chaotic systems,the theoretical derivation and demonstration is given out by using Lyapunov stability theory.The corresponding numerical simulations and synchronous performance analysis are supplied to verify the feasibility and scalability of compound synchronization design for memristive cellular neural network.(3)To study and implement the application to secure communication of CNN systems based on memristor.The full-dimension state observer which could realize state reconstruction is created to achieve synchronization of two memristive CNN systems.A synchronous communication system of memristive CNN systems is applied to image scrambling encryption.Hide the signal into chaotic signals for safety purposes.The memristive CNN system with chaotic behaviors is able to meet the requirements of secure communication.Furthermore,and a variety of synchronization control schemes make secure communication safer.Implementation of the CNN with memristor has the advantages of more complex dynamic behavior,simpler circuit design,lower power consumption and higher integration density.The circuit design and combination synchronization scheme of memristive CNN systems that proposed by the studies has its practical application value on secure communication.
