The manufacturing technology of modern advanced production, CAD/ CAM technology has been widely used, and developing constantly, and simple, easy to use, high efficiency is the key to the development of CAD/CAM system. In view of its research and development is used, puts forward the research idea of CAD/CAM system integrates various processing in one, is the automation of software developed a suitable for the small and medium sized enterprises. This paper is mainly aimed at the integration and the applicability of the developed a with independent intellectual property rights, the same interface operation, fully meet the CAD/CAM system for milling, engraving, drilling, tapping and other kinds of processing.This thesis proposes digital model design method based on the unified process layer to realize the system, a CAD drawing design and process design system and the CAM code and simulation system establishment of digital model of the platform function design process based on unified process layer. Development of CAD/CAM system based on an object oriented intelligent the goal based on, combined with the milling/engraving/bored/ tapping and so on many kinds of processing,the development of A CAD/CAM integrated software system, called UCAM system, and design the process operation. In the research technique for the CAM integrated system, the design of UCAM system based on the overall plan and technical structure, the development process and details of the program focuses on the design and Petri net modeling process of object-oriented method to build system. Combined with object oriented programming system, the combination of CAD/CAM, this paper uses the design method based features. Create a layer of stratified structure and object oriented programming, data structure based on the processlayer, and design process, design work will post processing in forming processplanning, predefined process attributes related to processing, make the operation more simple. This paper also introduces the modeling of CAM system modeling based on the advanced Petri-net, the modeling of CAM system using Petri net work in the state and state transfer or activity to determine the operation process, use this method to build the program design process. The system detailed design involves the manipulation of symbols and human like decision making process is the use of first-order predicate logic to complete.For the whole system, this paper carries out the following design:Design of process parameters of the system, in each layer is arranged a process function point, the specific process parameters set, which can be directly to the automatically generated CNC code generation process; the code manager design tree structure model file manager the design of the processing layer; code format requirements; the knifebase is designed as a tool database; as the difficulty of system design, the text engraved mill is designed as the first in accordance with the requirements of the closed graph text into multiple segments, and then carved machining; simulationdesign system and realized the system processing and simulation layer.
