Chinese nation has been advocating "food the first necessity of man" concept since ancient times. Catering industry is always one of our country's most important industries, with the rapid economic development, catering industry has been rapidly developed. However, most practitioners of catering industry in China still remain a traditional way to run their businesses, rough and vague. This industry has been moving on to a large-scale and refined way but still slow. With the continuous development of embedded technology and information technology, wireless meal-ordering system emerged, and catering industry is now, gradually developing towards the intelligence mode. But there still are several flaws such as high cost and complex, inflexible operation in existing meal-ordering systems.Aiming at this situation, this thesis presents a full-featured wireless self-service ordering system combining hardware and software to tackle these flaws. Depending on reality situation, this system will be based on UC/OS-II and STM32 embedded operating system, A peripheral circuit repotted the UC/OS-II operating system for multi-task management will be built. It uses STR-18 wireless data transmission module to accomplish data exchange and storage with the host computer. Then Clementine tool will be used to analyze the data through out clustering and correlation analysis methods, and obtain the useful information we need.In ordinary circumstances, customers will finish their order through the meal-ordering terminal, and the data will be sent to the host computer, then these orders will be printed out to the chef. Every ordering data will be saved to the database for later analysis, cluster analysis, correlation analysis, together with Apriori algorithm and K-Means algorithm is used for data mining, and obtain the information necessary for making decisions by analyze these results.Finally, this thesis has carried on functional testing of the system, the entire system is verified to be stable, ordering function works normally. the system has successfully obtained needed catering information. Through out the data mining and results analysis.
