Abstract/Summary:
Modular design is a new kind of design concept and method which is advocated at the present. Because of the high demand of the performance and quality of the mechanical and electrical products for the market, the traditional design method has difficult to meet these requirements. So there is a modular design method. The modular design has been widely used in the mechanical and electrical products of foreign countries. In our country, the idea of this design has been paid more and more attention although started late. With the rapid development of high performance processor、Bus technology and embedded real-time system, it is possible to design a powerful modular system. Under these backgrounds, this paper studies and designs a Bus-type modular system based on embedded real-time system. The Bus-type modular system introduced in this paper adopts the master-slave structure. Each module uses the STM32 microcontroller as the core. The input module is mainly used for collecting data. The output module is mainly used for transmitting data. The main control module reads the data collected by the input module, then processes and computes, and then transfer to the output module through the SPI bus. This system uses the SPI Bus as the internal communication between the modules; CAN Bus and the Ethernet interface as the external communication. With the Ethernet interface of the main control module, users can access the system via remote access.First, this paper introduces technology related of the system and the overall design program. Then, describes the hardware circuit design of the main control module and slave module and the software design based on embedded real-time system. Finally, the system was proved to be successful and feasible through the application on the ZJ17 cigarette machine.
