With the rapid development of information technology,the market demand for hand-held and portable mobile terminals keeps growing up.Since the development of Android phones,the market share is increasing.Meanwhile,Android mobile terminals have function of WiFi link,it is convenient for displaying target information in a mobile device.Therefore,the article studies on satellite navigation mobile terminal using Android operating system base on WiFi network.Design and development of the hardware of the system includes the core circuit module,the WiFi module,the electric level transform module,the Beidou positioning module,and the power module.The WiFi module is used to achieve network connection.The Beidou positioning module is used to collect Beidou information.The core circuit module controls the WiFi module,and collects Beidou statements.The electric level transform module is used to change RS232 electrical level to TTL electrical level,which ensures the normal reception of information.Design and development of the software of the system includes the procedure of STM32 platform and the design of Android client.The procedure of STM32 platform include receiving Beidou information module,the network programming module and the Socket server-side module.The Android client includes connecting with server-side,parsing and displaying Beidou information,querying historical information,as well as positioning and describing location on the nautical chart.Tests and analysis of whole system includes that the Android client connected to the server side where WiFi,enters the IP address and the port number in the log in page,in order to communication with the server side by Socket.Test results show that the Android client can not only correctly receive information and display and query historical information from Beidou positioning module,but also can locate,mark the positioning and ranging on the chart.It verifies that the system is usable and effective,and achieves the expected goals.
