A Secure Deletion Method Of Mobile Terminal Based On Android Platform

With the rapid development of wireless communication, the communication capability of mobile network increases day by day, mobile smart terminals with more powerful processing capabilities and storage space are becoming the developing trend of mobile computing. Different from traditional feature phone, the data-centric mobile smart terminal is featured with independent operating system and the ability to install and run third-party software, and it provides mobile Internet surfing service, data computing and storage service for the individual user. Mobile smart terminal becomes the information processing center and office assistant in people's daily work and life.Due to the complexity of mobile environment, In condition that mobile terminal is lost, stolen and sold, personal privacy information is faced with a huge security threat and greater harm. The security of mobile smart terminal has become today's unsolved social problems, which is one of the key factors restricting the development of mobile Internet. The secure deletion solutions based on Data encryption technology can only to a specific application environment, but can not solve the security problem essentially.For the existed secure deletion issues, In this paper, we study the method of the mobile terminal storage security deletion from viewpoint of Storage architecture, and then design and implement a mobile terminal secure deletion file system in user space based on Android platform.The main work is as follows:(1) We study the physical, logical and operational characteristics of the flash memory medium of the mobile terminal, and analyze the encryption scheme of the existing protection terminal data security.(2) We study the security and data security mechanism of Android system is studied, and then analyze the security of the Android terminal storage architecture(3) With the characteristics of flash memory storage and storage architecture of the mobile terminal, the paper proposes a security storage and deletion file system in user space on Android based on the FUSE technology.(4) We prove that our proposed method can resist the attack of files' life cycle, and analyze the performance of the user's space encryption file system.
