The radar, such as air-traffic positioning radar and weather radar for weather observations are built in remote mountains, due to the difficult mountain conditions, the operation of a radar is performed with a fixed pattern, technical persons check the operation condition of radar every one or two months. Usually only by the local village people are hired to watch. In order to effective monitor the real-time running status of the equipment, a real-time remote monitoring system was designed and implemented, which not only finish real-time monitoring of radar operation indicators, but also the real data can be timely recorded, stored, and transmitted to the far end engineering division terminal.On the basis of in-depth study of ARM technology and Linux system, the ARM9 processor core of the remote monitoring system hardware and resource allocation module was analyzed, and a set of acquisition, control, data processing hardware platform was designed. The software platform of S3C2410 hardware platform was designed, and the Linux kernel reduction method and the u-boot program debugging method were studied. According to ARM hardware configuration requirements and clipping configuration design of embedded system kernel, the embedded system platform based on Linux was set up. The drive of network and 18B20 temperature control chip based on the Linux kernel was developed and collocated, the kernel configuration was also optimized. OV511 chip driver module was researched, so that the hardware module can communicate effectively with the kernel. Furthermore, Development of the client program achieved real-time display of the remote data, the final integration of the entire software and hardware platform, complete design and implementation a set of the overall monitoring system.In view of the actual demand of the application scenario, a simple control function based on the embedded platform is realized, and the real-time temperature signal can be collected to the client. The development of the application of the client based on Visual Basic, mainly implements communication between the client and embedded system platform, complete the video, temperature and other signal acquisition and real-time display. At last, the function of the system is tested, and the effective solutions are put forward.
