A Linux-based Pda Application System Design And Realization

With the rapid development of the PDA which is the core of the products in Mobile and Internet Era, the PDA Technology based on Embedded Linux has become a most potential and advanced technical direction in recent years. As to the PDA which is based on Embedded Linux, Internet applications is an important key whether the kind of PDA win the current PDA market or not.With the analysis of PDA application system requirement and specialty, the paper discusses some methods and practical ways to implement that build the Linux PDA application system by using the program analysis and design under software components foundation on Qt developing environment. Software components technology and layered design being combined reduces Linux PDA application system complex degree and make it unprecedented convenience and flexibility and improves the application reusability. In addition, this paper also reviews how to handle status machine and multithreading technology to make the PDA application program code becomes short and fast.The ∑PDA application system discussed in the paper has been commercial software product that is in service on first Linux PDA made in Taiwan.
