Along with the information revolution raise a new round of technological wave, wireless ad hoc network obtained the rapid development. Ad hoc network is a new type of wireless network communication technology, so it has a wide range of applications in military, medical, industrial and other fields.Since the wireless ad hoc network is a rise wireless network technology only in recent ten years. It can also be found some obvious deficiencies, especially under the condition of traditional single-path transmission, it has more passable to get network failure, such as network throughput is low, heavy transmission delay and network resource using rate is low, once the link get failure, the routing will requires to reconnect and so on. In the thesis, NTN (Node-to-Node) ad hoc network is a peer network with dynamic topology and its terminal equipment can be wireless communicate in the long distance. So it is a group of multi-hop temporary autonomous system, which take wireless transceiver device for mobile nodes. In the network topology of NTN, two mobile nodes which can not directly communicate with other nodes can be grouped forwarding. Finally, mobile nodes can use multi-channel and multi-requency to achieve communication with other nodes in whole network. Compared with other mobile communication network, it does not need a fixed base station to support. It has some characteristics that easy to deploy network, wide coverage, self-organization, multi-hop, wireless channel of distributed and so on. NTN network mainly used for military tactical communication, emergency communication, collaborative mobile communications and wireless access system.Just like wireless ad hoc networks, the nodes of NTN network are through the multi-hop data forwarding mechanism for data exchange, which require forwarding decisions for routing protocol. The irregular nature of the wireless channel changes, the node's mobility, join, exit and so on will also cause the dynamic changes of the topology structure in whole network. The forwarding system of NTN network is enable to monitor topology changes in network, interactive routing information, generate, maintain and select routing. Also forwarding data according to the selected routing for provide network connectivity in such an environment. In the thesis, some existing advantages and shortcomings were pointed out by the analysis of the NTN network and the traditional wireless network. And in the wireless ad hoc routing protocol of the ideal requirements, we can compare routine problems of routing protocol, analyze the characters for design scheme of forwarding system, and research forwarding system from the six aspects. Test results show that each node maintain a routing table contains next hop node information. And achieve the learning of whole network topology and layer-2 forwarding table, the shortest path calculation, topology to ring function, while achieving message service in the air interface and LAN port, routing selection and management function of protocol stack, supporting for the switching of wired and wireless link(the data service priority go wired link when two links exist at the same time). Finally, the node of NTN network can broadband communicate with the conditions of cross link, long-distance, wireless, mobile and self-organizing.
